Blair Mize, MS, RDN, CSSD, LDN, CEDS-C
Owner | Nutrition Therapist | Memphis, TN Office + Virtual
Blair approaches nutrition therapy with warmth, curiosity, compassion, and hope. Her goal is to meet each person where they are, empowering them with nutrition knowledge, practical tools and skills, and guidance toward deeper self-awareness. Conversations go beyond food and body so Blair can get a picture of what life is like for you in the service of setting realistic goals related to recovery, performance, health, and wellbeing. Blair employs wisdom, thoughtfulness, and creativity as she supports her clients toward nourishment for what really matters in life. She has an expansive knowledge of nutrition science and an extensive library of resources she shares with her clients throughout their work together.
After earning her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Mississippi, Blair began her career as a Registered Dietitian with Methodist Healthcare’s Transplant Institute, later becoming Lead Clinical Dietitian at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. She transitioned into private practice with Schilling Nutrition Therapy in 2014, and from there, co-founded Memphis Nutrition Group in 2016. Her energy and enthusiasm for nutrition originally developed out of her own recovery journey, and she counts it a privilege to have been entrusted to care for so many recovering from their own struggles with food, body, and health over the last 10+ years.
Blair is a member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) and the International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians (IFEDD). She has worked with athletes of all skill levels (recreational to pro) in her role as a Board-Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. The only member of her family of five without a food allergy, Blair’s unexpected personal experiences sparked the deepening of her professional expertise in food allergies. She currently serves as Nutrition Advisor to the Food Allergy Alliance of the Mid-South and is dedicated to spending just as much time on strategies for increasing food variety as educating family which foods to avoid.
In 2019, Blair was named Emerging Dietetic Leader by the Memphis Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics. She has an insatiable appetite for learning and is always seeking to grow her knowledge and experience through continuing education, but her clients are her greatest teachers!

Blair values relationships and connection, so when she isn’t counseling, you can often find her making memories or porch-sitting with family and friends. She’ll never turn down the opportunity to go shopping or try a new bakery, but when she needs to reflect or recharge, you can find her out for a run or snuggled up with a good book or TV show.
