Emily Gause, MA, RDN, LDN

Originally from Florence, Alabama, Emily received her Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Nutrition from the University of North Alabama. From there, she finalized her didactic coursework at Jacksonville State University. She completed her Dietetic Internship in 2017 at the Memphis VA Veterans Affairs Medical Center and has been working primarily in clinical settings ever since. She became a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor in 2018 and is passionate about supporting individuals toward healing their relationship with food. In 2021, Emily completed her Master of Arts in Counseling and emphasizes the mind-body connection when providing nutrition therapy.
She is highly involved with the local district of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and currently serves as President-Elect for the West Tennessee Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (WTAND), as well as the past CPI Chair for WTAND (2019). In 2020, she was awarded Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year by the Tennessee Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
When not working, Emily enjoys playing guitar and harmonizing with her sisters, as well as anything outdoors. She can be found hiking, running, or curled up with a good Netflix show and cup of steaming hot English Breakfast tea.
