Lauren received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and her Master of Science in Nutrition at Texas Tech University. She completed her Dietetic Internship at Lipscomb University. Lauren began her career in acute care in Nashville, Tennessee and later transitioned to nutrition counseling in a behavioral health treatment center. Upon moving to Memphis, she gained pediatric experience through her work at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital.
Lauren loves working with adults, adolescents, and children facing disordered eating and eating disorders. She enjoys partnering with individuals throughout their recovery journey and supporting people as they transform their relationship with food by challenging diet culture. She is particularly passionate about working with adolescents to promote positive relationships with food and body during this life-stage of increasing development and autonomy.
In her free time, Lauren can be found reading novels, trying new coffee shops, and running with her husband and their dog at local parks.
