Rachel was born and raised in Memphis before attending Clemson University and earning a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition. She completed her Dietetic Internship at Emory in Atlanta and returned to Memphis in 2008 to begin her career at a local hospital, where she gained experience in numerous facets of clinical nutrition. As the hospital transitioned to providing behavioral healthcare, Rachel practiced in both inpatient and outpatient settings providing medical nutrition therapy for dual diagnosis, geriatric, mental health, and eating disorder patients. In 2021, she joined Fairhaven Treatment Center, a trauma focused eating disorder treatment facility, as an outpatient dietitian in the PHP and IOP levels of care. While at Fairhaven, Rachel provided nutrition counseling to adolescent and adult clients with Anorexia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Bulimia, and Avoidant-Restrictive Food Intake Disorder. Rachel is passionate about helping people heal their relationship with food and their bodies.
